「ありったけのカニを食いにいこう」という趣旨のツアー『カニカニカーニバル』に参戦してきました。
なんだかよくわかりませんが、「カニカニカーニバル」とか恥ずかしく書かれたバスに乗り込んでトランプやって気付いたらこんな所に着いてたんですよ。
兵庫県の湯村温泉というところらしい。
まさに温泉街っぽい雰囲気にテンションが上がる。
ゆで卵を摘まむポスターについ反応してしまったので、同行してた男にはバーチャルな左右の乳首を優しく摘まんでもらった。
誰の偉い石像かわかりませんが、とりあえず後方より近づいて頭を撫でてみたよ。
この温泉街のぐちゃぐちゃに入り乱れた道とか、横から見るとびっくりするぐらい厚みのない宿とかどこか無茶したような構造の街並が好きだったんだけども時間切れで回れなかったので、機会があれば次回さらに深く探索したい。とは思った。
そして、再びバスに乗り目的地の宿に到着。
荷物を置くやいなや、NintendoDSのマリオカート通信対戦を始める男性陣。
5人でマリカーとか楽しすぎ！そりゃDS売れるわ。
いい年した大人5名がマリオカートDSしながら、「ロケットスタート！ギュイーン！」とか叫びながら体をくねらせたりと、小学校の休み時間に男子が集まってやってそうなレベルで対戦が延々と続く。
晩御飯かお風呂に呼ばれて散った後の様子。
こんな映像を10年前にも体感した覚えがあるのだが。
カニカニカーニバル開催。
この大量のカニを前にしてどうしていいのかわからなかったので、とりあえず乳首を挟んでみたり脇に挟んだり、あとそうそう、口に入れてから噛んだ後に飲み込んだりして堪能したよ。
食い終わった後は、マリオカート第2幕。
レースが終わって画面が暗転する度にディスプレイに映し出される己の顔を見て、ヴァーチャルの世界から現実世界に引き戻されるこの瞬間に、1位を取って無邪気に笑ってる自分のうれしそうな顔を見てちょっと複雑な気分になった。

個人的ベストショット。
普段ゲームにあまり馴染みのない男の闘争本能に火が点き、みんなが去った後に一人でドリフトの猛特訓。それでも翌朝の対戦では勝てず、「ゲームはもういいよ・・」って悔しそうに言ってた。でも彼の頑張りをオレはよく知ってる。個人的に『がんばったで賞』を授与したい。
出石のそば。
ここで、「いずし！」って言いながら相手の肩のあたりを殴るというブームを流行らせようと、しつこく実行してたら、逆にいずし蹴りであっさり返された時のちょっと悔しいエピソードが、この写真の箸袋には含まれています。
